p2 - Some like it hot

Some color for the last days of summer!

I know I didn't write on my blog the whole summer, but I was in Spain and I forgot my 2 cameras in Germany so I couldn't do any pictures, yes I had my cell phone but the quality wasn't good enough.
Anyway, here I am again, this time I show you some products that belong to the p2 limited edition "Some like it hot". It's full of colour and inspired by the Miami beaches. It was available in stores for one month in summer.

//Ya sé que no escribí nada en mi blog durante el verano, pero es que estuve en España y se me olvidaron mis dos cámaras en Alemania así que no pude hacer fotos, sí que tenía mi móvil pero la calidad no era demasiado buena para el blog. 
Pero bueno ya he vuelto y esta vez os muestro unos productos que pertenecen a la edición limitada de p2 "Some like it hot". Está llena de colores e inspirada en las playas de Miami. Estuvo a la venta durante un mes este verano.//

Do you like these 2 nail polishes? One in blue and the other one in pink. Aren't they "happy" and funny colours? I like them for summer but I must admit they're not colours I'd wear every day.

//¿Os gustan estas dos lacas de uñas? Una en rosa y la otra en azul. ¿No son colores graciosos y alegres? Me gustan para el verano pero tengo que admitir también que no son tonos que yo usaría todos los días.//

A mascara and a lipgloss also belong to the collection. Both in funny colours too. The mascara is blue as you can see and the lipgloss has exactly the same colour as the tube, but once on your lips it's transparent although also very sticky. I don't like the mascara much, I'd wear it maybe for a special party but nothing more. Would you wear it daily?

//Una máscara y un lipgloss también pertecen a la colección. Los dos en colores graciosos. La máscara es azul como se puede ver y el gloss tiene exactamente el mismo color que el tubo, pero una vez puesto es transparente aunque también muy pegajoso. No me gusta mucho la máscara, quizás la usaría para alguna fiesta especial pero nada más. ¿Vosotras la usaríais a diario?//

And the last 2 things are a pocket mirror and a blush with a nice print. I find the pocket mirror a bit cheap and I think I actually prefer to use the blush as a pocket mirror, I like it much better and the colour is also great, furthermore it contains vitamin E and aloe vera.

//Y las dos últimas cosas son un espejo de bolso y un colorete con un impreso muy mono. El espejo de bolso la verdad es que me parece "barato", casi que prefiero usar el colorete como espejo, me gusta mucho más y el color es muy bonito, además contiene vitamina e y aloe vera.//

Catrice Feathered Fall

Autumn is already here and now is time for new makeup looks, new tones and new collections, like this one: Catrice Feathered Fall. This limited edition offers feather-inspired beauty products in dark, iridescent and electric tones, which are available from now until the beginning of November.

//El otoño ya está aquí y con él llegan nuevos looks de maquillaje, nuevos tonos y nuevas colecciones, como la Feathered Fall de Catrice. Esta edición limitada trae productos con diseños inspirados en las plumas y con tonos oscuros, irisados y eléctricos. Está disponible desde ya hasta principios de Noviembre.//

I've had the chance to try a couple of the products, for example these 2 Sheer Lip Colours, one in a nude tone (C01 Plain plumage) and the other one in a mix of plum and aubergine (C03 Plum plumes). The nude lipstick doesn't give colour at all, it's more like a lip balm with a withish finish, I really don't like it. And the dark one is the same, it gives colour but not too much so it doesn't look so dark on the lips, again a mix of lipbalm and colour, anyway this one is much nicer than the nude. There's also another lipstick in red (C02 Red-y to fly), but I don't have it.

//He tenido la oportunidad de probar algunos de los productos de la colección como estos dos "Sheer Lip Colours", uno en tono nude (C01 Plain plumage) y el otro en una mezcla de ciruela y berenjena (C03 Plum plumes). El labial nude no da nada de color, es más como un bálsamo con un acabado blanquecino que no me gusta nada. Y el oscuro es lo mismo, da color pero no demasiado así que en los labios no se ve tan oscuro, es una mezcla entre bálsamo y lápiz de labios, aunque éste queda mucho más bonito que el nude. También hay otro en rojo (C02 Red-y to fly), pero yo no lo tengo.//

The collection also includes 4 eyeshadows: C01 Peacocktail, C02 Plum Plumes, C03 Ostrich's Frock and C04 Plain Plumage. Two of them are dark (C01 & C02) with a high pigmentation and quite iridescent, when applied both look very similar (dark and shiny), anyway one has more aubergine tones and the other green glitter. The other two are lighter, actually C04 is almost only shine and C03 is a brown shine. The 4 are nice but have too much glitter which is not something I love.

//La colección también incluye 4 sombras de ojos: C01 Peacocktail, C02 Plum Plumes, C03 Ostrich's Frock and C04 Plain Plumage. Dos de ellas son oscuras (C01 & C02) con mucha pigmentación y tirando a irisadas, una vez puestas se parecen mucho (oscuras y muy brillantes), sólo que una tira más a violeta y la otra a verde. Y las otras dos son más claritas, en realidad la C04 es más brillo que otra cosa, y la C03 es un brillo amarronado. Las cuatro son bonitas pero brillan demasiado para mi gusto.//

3 nail polishes also belong to the limited edition: C01 Golden plum-e, a shimmering mix of pink, brown and copper, C02 Peacocktail, a iridescent black, and C03 Skie's force, an electric green. The 3 look really nice on the nails, the shimmering and iridescent finish is great. My favourite is the one below (C01).

Las 3 quedan muy bien puestas, el acabado brillante e irisado es muy bonito, aunque mi favorito es el color de la foto de abajo (C01).//

Three more products (that I don't have) complete this collection: a liquid eyeliner in purple/blue, a lipgloss with soft golden pigments and a top coat in metallic greenish blue.

Crème Fresh by CATRICE

The new limited edition Crème Fresh by CATRICE is already available (February-March)! It's a lovely collection, full of wash-off pastel colours and retro designs. It makes me think immediatly in spring and soft looks. These are the products I have from the collection:

La nueva edición limitada de CATRICE Crème Fresh ya está a la venta (Febrero-Marzo)! Es una monada de colección, llena de tonos pastel claro y diseños retro. A mí me hace pensar inmediatamente en la primavera y en looks suaves. Estos son los productos que yo tengo de esta edición:
- Esmaltes (2.79€): C03 Evergreen 60s (menta) / C02 Make fast at Tiffany's (amarillo) / C05 Light you fire (rosa) 
- Sombras de ojos (2.99€): C02 Another pink panther (rosa claro) / C04 So Jackie O (color crema muy clarito)
- Barra de labios (3.99€): C03 The peach boys

I love the nail polishes, specially the raspberry pink one is my favourite. The other two are more pastel, perfect for the spring. The yellow tone is not a nail polish I would choose to wear alone, anyway it's perfect to combine with other candy colours. The 3 of them provide a good coverage and have a lovely shiny finish.

Me encantan los esmaltes de esta colección, sobretodo el rosa es mi favorito. Los otros dos son más pastel, perfectos para la primavera. Aunque es verdad que el amarillo no sería un color que yo escogería para llevar solo, sí que es muy bonito para combinar con otros tonos suaves similares. Los 3 aportan una buena cobertura y tienen un acabado brillante que me encanta.

The eyeshadows I have are very light, the left one is a light pink and the right one a light cream tone, actually when you apply both they don't give much colour, but they do provide shimmer. It wasn't easy to get pictures with the real tones, I guess you can't see much difference between the 2 eyeshadows, something similar happens on the skin, they turn into a whitish creamy powder. Anyway they're good base tones to combine and create many looks.

Las sombras de ojos que tengo son muy claritas, la izquierda es un rosa claro y la derecha un crema claro, en realidad al usarlas no dan mucho color pero sí que aportan brillo. No ha sido nada fácil conseguir una foto con los tonos reales, no creo que veáis mucha diferencia entre las dos sombras, y precisamente algo parecido pasa al usarlas, se convierten en un polvo cremoso de tono blanquecino. De todas maneras son buenos colores base para combinar y crear muchos looks.

There are also 3 lip balms in this limited edition, I have the peach one. I must say I like it and hate it at the same time. They're not supposed to give much colour, and they don't, at least not their colour, they provide a nice shiny finish when you use just a little, but if you apply a little too much and your lips happen to be a bit dry, then you'll get a not so nice white tone on your lips... Nevertheless the smell is good.

En esta edición limitada también hay 3 bálsamos labiales, yo tengo el tono melocotón. Tengo que decir que me gusta y a la vez lo odio. Se supone que no aportan en realidad apenas color, y es cierto, por lo menos no su propio color, dan un acabado brillante si usas sólo un poquito, pero si resulta que te pones un poquito de más y tus labios están un poco secos, entonces acabarás con una boca blanca no muy agradable... Sin embargo el olor sí que me gusta.

Catrice Feathers & Pearls

What I have:

I tried the red nail polish with the sequins on one nail and this is the result. I'm not very good at painting my own nails but I actually like my job! You can also find the nail sequins in golden, but I have the black version which actually goes perfect with the red and the golden polishes that I have.

Me probé el esmalte rojo con las lentejuelas en una uña y este es el resultado. La verdad es que no soy muy buena pintándome las uñas pero estoy bastante contenta con cómo ha quedado. También hay las lentejuelas en dorado, pero yo tengo la versión negra que la verdad es que queda perfecta con mis esmaltes rojo y dorado.

And these are the two lipsticks that I have, one is almost the same color as the nail polish (C03) and the other one is more pink (C01).
I also tried the eyebrow fixing pen and I love it, it's a white pen but when you use it on the eyebrows it's transparent and it gives them a perfect definition.
I haven't tried the false eyelashes yet, I must say I don't like the shiny appliqués that much, but I guess you have to try them to see how the look on you. They come with a glue.

Y estos son las barras de labios que tengo, una es de color casi idéntico al del esmalte (C03) y la otra es más rosa (C01).
También probé el fijador de cejas y me encanta, es como un lápiz blanco pero cuando lo usas es transparente y le da una perfecta definición a las cejas.
Las pestañas postizas no las he probado aún, la verdad es que no me gusta demasiado el toque de brillantitos que tienen en las esquinas, pero supongo que es cuestión de ver cómo quedan puestas. Incluyen un pegamento.

Dove Winter Care

I'm so sorry I haven't updated my blog for a long time. This year I've spent more time abroad than at home and that makes it a bit difficult to keep on writing and posting.

In september/october I visited the US and I have some nice pictures I hope I'll be able to show you soon. But in this time I also received some products I would like to talk to you about. For example the Dove's limited edition Winter Care.

Siento mucho no haber actualizado mi blog en este tiempo, pero este año he pasado más tiempo fuera que en casa y eso hace un poco difícil el seguir escribiendo y publicando.

En septiembre/octubre visité los Estados Unidos y tengo algunas fotos chulas que espero poder enseñar pronto en mi blog. Pero también he recibido en este tiempo algunos productos de los que me gustaría hablaros. Por ejemplo uno de ellos son las cremas Dove Winter Care, edición limitada.

Are you ready for winter?? With these creams I definitely am! As I often said, my skin is dry and it suffers with every change of weather, specially in winter because inside buildings it's usually warm, the air is dry and the difference between the heating and the weather outside is really bad for me. So you can guess my best friends are creams and moisturizers and these from Dove are just perfect. I like Dove because their products are always nice to the skin, they nourish it and are not aggressive. The limited edition is special for winter, for this time when the skin suffers the most, it's the Dove's mildest yet most moisturizing formula with a gentle flowery scent. After having tested the four products (hand cream, body wash, body lotion and body cream) I truly recommend them if your skin is like mine.

¿Estáis preparadas para el invierno? Con estas cremas yo sí que lo estoy! Como he dicho otras veces, mi piel es seca y suele sufrir con los cambios de tiempo, especialmente en invierno cuando en casa hace calor, el aire es seco y la diferencia de temperatura entre dentro y fuera es muy grande y muy mala para mí. Como os podéis imaginar mis mejores amigos son entonces las cremas e hidratantes y estas de Dove la verdad es que son perfectas. Normalmente me gusta la marca porque sus productos suelen ser delicados con la piel y nada agresivos, pero es que esta edición limitada para el invierno está especialmente creada para estos momentos, es muy suave pero a la vez muy hidratante con un discreto aroma floral. Después de haber probado los cuatro productos (crema de manos, de cuerpo, body milk y gel de ducha) los recomiendo de verdad si vuestra piel es como la mía.
