Garnier Wahre Schätze "Honig Geheimnisse"

I think this is the Garnier shampoo I like the most from among all I've tried over the years, without a doubt. I'm amazed with this new range of hair care products from Garnier, I've always related Garnier shampoos with Fructis, but now they have made a great decision by launching onto the market this Ultimate Blends collection (in Germany "Wahre Schätze" and in Spain "Original Remedies"), not only the packaging is good but also the contents.

I've only tried the Honey Treasures series for the moment (here it's composed of shampoo, conditioner and mask), I can't say much about the others although the basis and philosophy in general of Ultimate Blends is the same: the blend of natural products, paraben free formulas and aimed at the different needs of each hair with their natural ingredients.

The "treasures" used in the case of Honey Treasures are the benefits of honey and beehives to help restoring, nourishing and strengthening the hair damaged by irons, colours and hairdryers (just like mine).
They contain 3 natural ingredients:
- Royal Jelly, rich in nutrients such as vitamin B that regenerates and strengthens.
- Propolis, a natural resin made by the bees that protects the hair.
- Honey, which provides much nourishment and a great scent.

I just can't say anythig negative about this new range. For the moment I feel that these products clean my hair perfectly, they leave it soft and shiny and they smell incredibly good, I love them! Furthermore I like the packaging of all Ultimate Blends, more "vintage" which seems to be in right now, I actually find the image of the classic Fructis shampoos is very average, whereas the image of Ultimate blends looks more valuable, which is nonsense but it actually helps to sell more, they have won me over already! Have you already tried any of the Ultimate Blends??

MATRIX Biolage Exquisite Oil

Now that the oil is a trend among hair care products, I would like to show you the ExquisiteOil collection by Matrix I've had the chance to try. Biolage Exquisite Oil by Matrix is a series of products that contain a moringa oil blend for a perfect, shiny and smooth hair. The collection is composed of a shampoo, a masque and 3 oil treatments (but I only have one of them). Have you already heard about the brand Matrix? It belongs to L'Oréal and is available at some salons.

As I said, there are 3 oil treatments available, each one for different hair needs: one to strengthen thin hair, one to manage thick and coarse hair and one more to shield hair from dulling impurities. I have the last one, the protective treatment which provides lightweight replenishment for all hair types. It's supposed to protect and nourish hair for extra softness and brilliant shine, to add control and manageability and also to deeply condition when used as an overnight treatment. It can be used before shampooing, during conditioning, as a finisher or overnight as a treatment, you just have to apply a few drops. I've used it before washing my hair but maybe I applied too much oil because I had problems later when I used the shampoo, I couldn't make much foam and I had the sensation that my hair wasn't clean enough afterwards. The result wasn't bad at the end, my hair was actually nice and smooth but I'll try use less product anyway.

The Micro-Oil shampoo contains a blend of moringa, macadamia, coconut and almond oils, it cleanses as it nourishes, it replenishes the hair and leaves it silky and healthy looking. It's for all hair types, has no parabens and the smell is gentle, not my favourite scent, it reminds me a bit of camomilla.
And the oil ritual masque is the same, the difference is that it also contains orange peel oil and sage extract. It can be used alone or together with 1-3 drops of the oil treatment.
My general opinion about the collection Biolage ExquisiteOil by Matrix is good, my hair looks good, anyway I really don't like the sensation that the shampoo can't clean my hair deeply after applying the oil treatment and also the scent is not the best.

I already told you about the Rossmann Schön für mich Box in April (here), that was my first Rossmann beauty box and I was quite happy about the products. I tried to get the next boxes a couple of times but I couldn't, you have to register every month for a chance of getting 1 of 500 they sell every month for 5€. Anyway September is a lucky month again and here I have the Rossmann Schön für mich Box!

8 products this time, a mix of skin care, hair care, make up and scents, plus discount coupons for 3 of the products.

Let's start with the skin care products: a Bebe More eye cream and an Olaz/Olay face cream.
The eye cream is supposed to smooth the rings and give hydration and freshness. The product is ok but I'm currently using a Lancaster eye cream which is much better, so I don't think I'll use this one often. Anyway is a good value for the price (4.49€)
The Olaz Regenerist Luminous face cream helps improving the complexion, it reduces dark spots and uneven skin tone. I haven't open the box because I won't use it soon, I'm currently using the Eucerin Even Brighter which is supposed to do the same and I'm not really happy with it (I will soon update the post about the product).

For the hair care: Nivea color care & protect light shampoo and Isana Professional oil care.
The Nivea shampoo contains pomegranate and liquid keratin, it protects the color without damaging the hair and leaves it shiny and smooth. I guess it's for light color treated hair, just like mine, I only have a couple of highlights so I'll use it, although I don't usually buy Nivea shampoos and I already have a couple of favorite shampoos.
The Isana Professional oil care is a mix of argan and sunflower oil that protects and makes the hair look better. It can be used before washing it or after on the damp or dry hair. I already have the Moroccanoil which is my number 1 favorite but anyway I'll give this Isana oil a try. (2.99€)

The box also contains the Daniela Katzenberger EdT and a 8x4 deodorant.
The Eau de Toilette is really small, 15ml, and it smells much better than I expected. Daniela Katzenberger is a "celebrity" in Germany, one of those people who are nice and people like them but don't have a defined profession (such as the Kardashians). I never buy celebrity perfumes but I must admit this one is a nice little gift for a fan and it smells good, not so sweet as I thought.
The 8x4 modern charme deodorant is ok, deodorant is something I always buy so I will certainly use it but it's not my favorite, it smells much of roses, not something I love. Besides 8x4 is a brand I never heard about and for a similar price (1.55€) I can find other better deos.

Make up products: a Max Factor mascara and a For Your Beauty eye makeup brush.
I'm really happy with the Max Factor Masterpiece Transform mascara, I must say I already have the same mascara since a couple of weeks and I love it, the brush is perfect, small silicone bristles and a long flexible twisted brush help defining the eyelashes without leaving clumps.
Eye makeup brushes are something every girl needs, this one is for smokey eyes and I didn't have any for that so I'm happy it came in the september box, I'll sure use it because I love the smokey eye look!

What can I say about this beauty box? I like it better than the one I got in April, even though I already have similar but better products. 5€ for these 8 products is a really good price! Most of the brands are really good (Nivea, Olaz/Olay, Max Factor, Bebe More) and they are all things every girl uses! Great september Schön für mich Box!

Pantene Pro-V Youth Protect 7

I have been using these new hair products from Pantene Pro-V for the last week and I'd like to tell you my opinion about them.

The collection Youth Protect 7 is supposed to give your hair 7 benefits in just one product: strength, shine, smoothness, lightweight, nourishment, hidration feeling, damage repair and resilient tips.
The whole series is composed of 5 produtcs: shampoo, conditioner, masque, reinforcing spray and BB cream. I don't have the masque and the spray, so I can't say anything about them, but I can tell you about the other 3.

1. Shampoo: It smells great, like all Pantene products, the traditional scent from this brand, nevertheless this collection reminds me more of melon. I can't say if the 7 benefits actually work because that's really difficult to see, I also don't know how long you should use the products before seeing any difference. Anyway, this is a good shampoo, really worth the Pantene Pro-V name.
2. Conditioner: Exactly the same as the shampoo, it smells very good and is typical from Pantene. What I love about this collection are the colours and the design.
3. BB Cream: I had never tried a BB cream for the hair before, it's basically a light cream to apply on the hair when it's already clean and wet. It's recommended to dispense 2 pumps of the product and use like serums and that kind of products, apply and rub. I do see a difference after using this BB Cream, I feel my hair smoother and lightweight, I am susprised about it and I like it!
